The Japanese and Chinese always knew the value of relaxation and unwinding. In Japan, Hinoki onsen baths in hot springs were a great way to alleviate pain. You can even expect one onsen bath per volcano in Japan.

With over a decade of providing high-quality Japanese-style spa treatments to their regulars, you can expect their therapists to provide the best Shiatsu massages alongside tried-and-proven modern Japanese skincare and facial treatments.
If you want to experience more than just one experience, Ikeda Spa has a great service package selection, too.

“The massage and service I received here on both my visits have been good. It’s the place that I know for sure I could get a good massage without being pushed to sign anything extra at all. And the masseuse gets every muscle knot I had in my body. I recommend trying the hot stone bed as it’s very comforting for my tired body.”
“My therapist Yuan Xi was absolutely spot on with the amount of pressure used and her attention to detail. I was a little uncomfortable on the hot stone table at some point and she was more than happy to promptly get more towels to rest & cushion my joints better. The staff are very friendly and the overall atmosphere is calm and relaxing.”

“There were 10-15 guys on a Friday morning, but the place still offered a tranquil respite. A good place to be disconnected and be lost in time (with no clock inside). Everyone was naked, some strutted around by placing the modesty towel strategically. But no one batted an eyelid or wore disposable undergarment. All appeared to be familiar with the onsen culture. They looked comfortable, very relaxed and hopped in and out of the different tubs from time to time. Many are presumably working adults, since the prices are not that cheap. Worth a visit every now and then. It is a good getaway for lone rangers as there is no need to talk to anyone throughout. The cafe and sleeping area serve as extra perks.”

“Went down here for my anniversary with the husband and thank god my husband said the thai massage by Aileen/Eileen is good. Been trying to find one that is similar to the better ones in Johor or Thailand but I’d say, this is close. I wanted a chillax massage so they recommended me a Swedish massage and my masseuse Amy did a good job. I’m the kind who can’t take strong strokes and she often checked in with me regarding the pressure which I appreciated. The jacuzzi was fun and we were served with ginger tea at the end. The receptionist was kind enough to show us the foot massage area (in photos) which she didn’t have too. Overall, we had a good experience. Just that it’s abit too pricey if one wants to do this every month. That’s my 2 cents worth. (:”

“My husband and I were served by Hani and Jane. We were touched by their sweet gesture of decorating the room to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We absolutely enjoyed their massage – very thorough and soothing with the right amount of pressure to ease our aches and tiredness away. They are truly professionals in their trade. Not forgetting the staff members we met in Aramsa, thank you for your hospitality and warmth. Our time with you has made this special day more special. Thank you!”
“Now where do I even start… when I came I was greeted by a friendly staff and introduced me to the oils. I choosed mine and I was ushered to the waiting room. I was surprised as there isnt any promoting of other products( for me if there is, it will definitely be a major turn off) Im thn greeted by Marlia and proceeded to the room. I simply love the ambiance. I did the weekday promotion. When Marlia started to work with her magic hands i just simple knew she is someone with experience. I did the scrub first. The massage hasnt even started but i felt soooo relax. I was asked to take a shower and the outdoor area which feels like im in bintan! And my massage started. The pressure was on point. I felt some parts of my a lil strain but marloa seems to pick that up and she work on that part firm but gentle. I loved it when a warm weight was placed on my back and tummy when she moved to elsewhere. I could feel her calm energy which makes me relax. Like how sporean say.. ” syiok lah!!” I will definitely return and perhaps Aramsa will be the only place i pampered myself. Thank you Aramspa and of course Marlia. Much love”

“My partner and I just had the best ever Balinese massage with Siti and Jasmine at St Gregory Pickering. This 60 min massage came together with our hotel suite package. The strokes, pressure, and movement were perfect. Thanks St Gregory and PRPS!”
“Wonderful experience. While we didn’t stay at the ParkRoyal on Pickering, we checked in to the Spa for a full day as our flight was scheduled only scheduled around midnight. Great decision!! We selected the couple’s special and had 1,5 spa services for two including champagne and the day at their amazing pool area for S$388. The hotel is very close to Clarke Quay and China Town so we even combined it with some more sight seeing. The Spa facilities are very nice, clean and tranquil … How you would expect from a hotel light the ParkRoyal. All services were perfect from start to finish. Even if you are not staying here, highly recommend the St Gregory Spa.”
